COVID-19 Updates

To Our Valued Clients,

At Liberty Pet Hospital, we have taken proactive steps to keep our team, clients, and patients safe and healthy. We feel a duty to ensure that our community is protected and our clients feel safe when a visit to our practice with their precious pet is indicated. Government and CDC recommendations are continually changing and most recently they are mandating that elective procedures and surgeries be postponed. If your pet is in need of medical care and you are unsure if it can wait or not, please call our office and we will help you make the decision.

We are considered an essential business and will remain open for regular business hours. We have added additional hours on Wednesdays to allow our team to be available for you and your pets 7 days a week!

Due to the evolving situation with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), our hospital is taking additional precautionary measures to ensure the safety of our clients, pets and the people who care for them. In order to keep a 6ft distance between people, we are asking all appointments to be drop-off as of 3/24/20.

Appointments
1). Please call us from the parking lot when you arrive for your appointment
2). A staff member will get history over the phone
3). We will accept your pet on a leash or in a carrier at the door and then a doctor will examine your pet while you wait in the car.
4). The doctor will call to discuss care for your pet and get approval for a treatment plan.
5). We will explain medications and treatments and then accept payment over the phone and schedule a recheck exam if needed.

Medication and food pickup:
1). Please call us from the parking lot when you arrive to pick up refills and food.
2). We will accept payment over the phone and then set your food/Rx outside for your immediate pickup.

We appreciate your willingness to follow this new policy and keep everyone healthy.

Refill Requests: Please call or email us for refills and allow 1 to 2 days notice.

Appointments: Please call or email us to schedule your appointment.

Telemedicine: To help with social distancing during the COVID-19 crisis, we’re now offering telemedicine appointments! 

To Schedule:
Telemedicine consults need to be scheduled in advance by contacting the front desk by phone at 614-568-7297 or by emailing info@libertypethospital.com.

Please note:

  • Telemedicine Consult Fee is $48 for first 20 minutes. Clients may pay over the phone when the appointment is scheduled.
  • Telemedicine consults will be conducted using Zoom video chat. Clients must have internet access and either a desktop or mobile phone to conduct the video chat.
  • This does not substitute for an in-person veterinary exam as the doctors will do their absolute best to triage, follow up with a treatment plan and recommendations for your pet.
