Dr. Brown originates from Oklahoma. He attended Oklahoma State University, where he received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Animal Science. After graduation from Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999, Dr. Brown went on to complete a one year rotating small animal internship at Auburn University. He then completed a three-year Internal Medicine residency at Purdue University. Dr. Brown was awarded board certification that year. Dr. Brown has completed research in Immune-mediated neutropenia and has been published in the Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association.
Dr. Brown has nearly two decades of experience in diagnosis and treatment of small animal Internal Medicine patients. After serving as department head for a large, multi-service referral hospital in southern Florida, Dr. Brown returned to Ohio and began an imaging/Internal Medicine consulting service. His main focus is in expediting an accurate diagnosis in order to provide prompt therapy and a more positive outcome.
Dr. Brown stays active with his daughter, dog Samantha and cat Jewel.
